full-in includes nail care to refer to the process of filling in the gap that forms between artificial nails (such as acrylics, gels, or dip powder) and the natural nail bed as the natural nails grow. This gap is commonly known as “regrowth” and becomes visible after a couple of weeks following the initial application of artificial nails.
Full-In Process
Assessment and Removal of Old Polish:
The old nail polish or gel coating is removed, typically using a nail file or acetone soak. This step helps assess the condition of the nails and the existing enhancements.
Filing and Shaping:
The surface of the artificial nails is gently filed down to create an even surface. The nails are reshaped as needed to maintain the desired look.
Application of New Product:
A new layer of acrylic, gel, or dip powder is applied to the regrowth area to fill in the gap. This product is blended seamlessly with the existing material to ensure a smooth transition.
Buffing and Smoothing:
The nails are buffed to smooth out any uneven areas and ensure a uniform surface.
Polish and Finishing Touches:
A new layer of nail polish, gel polish, or top coat is applied. Nail art or additional designs can also be added at this stage.
